Junior / Senior QA Engineer

Description

Quality Assurance Engineer at Ahead WebSoft Technologies will be responsible for understanding the domain and the product in detail and coming up with the test strategy/planning, coming up with the test cases, contributing to code level Unit tests, test execution and reporting. 

Responsibilities
  • Utilize innovative testing technologies to develop product's testing strategy.
  • Analyze test logs, debug failures, create test reports, coordinate with developers and across various teams to confirm the delivery of bug free products.
  • Participation in design and code inspections.
  • Knowledge of UI, API (Preferably REST API's) and mobile application (Both Android and iOS) manual testing.
  • Ability to test products in various aspects.
  • Ability to work with databases, able to construct and execute SQL queries.
  • Working with the development team to correct bugs and errors. Help development and design team troubleshoot issues.
  • Create status and test result reports for management and represent the group in status meetings.
  • Creating training materials and operating manuals.
  • Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
  • Making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to multi-task work across a main product development as well as patch regression.
  • Desire to learn and build new technologies

Skills
  • Proven work experience of 1 to 5 years in Quality Assurance of web based software products and Mobile Applications.
  • BE/B.Tech or ME / M.Tech / MS MCA / BCA degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Functional knowledge and comfort working with following tools:-
    JIRA • Github • Test Case Management
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to establish strong client relationship
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files.
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills across different levels including client communication, senior management and at team level.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Start-Up experience will be a plus point.
