Backend Developer(Node.js)

Description

We are looking for a highly capable Node.js developer to optimize our web-based application performance. You will be collaborating with our front-end application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and protection solutions.

To ensure success as a Node.js developer, you should possess extensive knowledge of Node.Js based services and experience in a similar role. An accomplished Node.js developer will be someone whose expertise results in the stable, fast, and secure exchange of data between servers and end-users.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for writing reusable, testable, and efficient code and developing and designing front end web applications.
  • Managing a cloud-based interface would be an added advantage.
  • Ensuring server management.
  • Establishing and integrating development tools as required.
  • Maintaining responsiveness of the application.
  • Writing clean and well-structured codes.
  • Testing applications and fixing bugs, along with security and data protection features.
  • Designing and maintaining complex databases.
  • Conduct and participate in project planning & scheduling and design discussions.
  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.

Skills
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent.
  • 2-6 Years of Working Experience in the relevant field.
  • Demonstrated exposure through projects: Html, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js and Express.JS, Sequelize Database.
  • Strong analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in Socket.io Programming. Should be able to handle millions of concurrent users.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodology.
  • Cross-browser development and troubleshooting.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Good understanding of overall web design including basic usability, accessibility, industry standards, architecture, and navigation
  • Portfolio of work required. Include examples of all areas of interaction design (user flows, wireframes, final graphical display)
  • Have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
