Ahead WebSoft Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic and innovative development team.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Android applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient Android applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and sharing best practices.
  • Continuously improve development processes and contribute to the overall software development lifecycle.

Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Android application development.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering Android applications from start to finish.
  • Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of Android framework components, architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM), and development best practices.
  • Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Working Experience with remote data via REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with modern Android development libraries, such as Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Capable of making use of standard libraries and APIs.
  • Knows ins & outs of the whole mobile development lifecycle.
  • Working Knowledge of Firebase developer console knowledge & Third-party integration just Facebook login, Gmail login in the app and Socket.io is a must.
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and development frameworks.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Analytical and good in time management.
